Don Ramon first opened its doors on July 13, 1998, as a small, family-owned and operated Mexican restaurant. Our first location in Parma Heights quickly became a community favorite, and today, we’re proud to have expanded to three additional locations.
In March 2006, we introduced Gran Fiesta, carrying forward the same vision, recipes, and traditions that made Don Ramon special.
The name Don Ramon was chosen to honor our father, Ramon Magaña, whose values of hard work, family, and hospitality continue to guide us.
We are five brothers from Guanajuato, Mexico, who came to the United States as immigrants searching for a better future for ourselves and our families. Our journey began in Nashville, Tennessee, where we worked at a small Mexican restaurant—starting as dishwashers and slowly moving up to head cooks. Those years gave us not only the skills of the kitchen and dining room, but also the appreciation for every role that makes a restaurant feel like home.
From the beginning, our goal has been simple: to share the flavors of our homemade, authentic recipes and to create a warm, welcoming place for every guest. For more than two decades, we have strived to give our customers the very best—an experience that feels like home with every visit.
